The initiative of the Secretariat of National Defense to have Canada as the guest of honor in FAMEX-2019 was accepted by the Government of Canada, who, through its Ambassador, His Excellency Mr. Pierre Alarie, delivered it to the facilities of that diplomatic representation, of the official letter of acceptance, which was received by the General of Pilot Group Aviator, Diploma of Air Staff, Rodolfo Rodríguez Quezada, President of FAMEX.
In this act, authorities and representatives of the Federal Government and the aeronautical and commercial sector of our country participated, among which the Maestro César Fragozo, Head of the Sectoral Development Unit of Proméxico and Engineer Carlos Robles, President of the Mexican Federation stand out of the Aerospace Industry (FEMIA).
The Ambassador of Canada in Mexico, expressed the great interest that his nation has for the Mexican aerospace industry and the importance of this distinction, which will help to strengthen relations between both countries and the development of the global aviation industry.
This event represents for Mexico, an important achievement in aeronautics, endorsing the commitment of the Ministry of National Defense with the economic development of the country, supporting trade relations with Canada, a country that has established a great aerospace development in Mexico and has made His presence was evident in the two previous editions of FAMEX with the participation of the provinces of Alberta, Quebec and Ontario.
With results like this, the Mexico Aerospace Fair is consolidated as one of the most important aeronautical and commercial events in the world, organized by the Ministry of National Defense; reiterating the invitation to the members of the national and international aerospace sector, to be part of this event.
