Commercial and Private Aviation
Mexico is one of the countries with the world’s airports (85 airports, 59 international). Commercial aviation has an excellent safety record over the past 20 years because since 1988 there have been no commercial air accidents in Mexico. In just over two decades have transported more than 250 million passengers in Mexican airlines and security levels help the growth of private and commercial aviation in the country.
According to the National Chamber of Air-Transport (Canaero), from 2000 to 2013 an increase of 63% occurred in the flow of traffic and passengers. 12 years ago they were transported 21.5 million passengers and the end of 2013 were up from 55.5 million. 50% of flights are domestic and international rest and there are 57 national and 97 international destinations, this has been due to the stability of the Mexican economy.

In the country include: Aeromexico, Interjet, Volaris, VivaAerobus, Executive Airlines, Aeromar and Magnicharters as well as a huge number of international airlines.

Also, private aviation in Mexico shows steady growth, even 10%, quite favorable level for the industry. The country has one of the largest air forces in the world particularly in the area of general aviation, to date there are about 300 companies, which means more than five thousand ships general aviation, including air taxis, private planes, taxis government and recreational.
